Oregon family photography sessions by milestones.

There is truly no better compliment than to have clients return time after time.  I thought it would be fun to combine a few highlights from this family’s maternity, newborn, and family session in one post to show the progression.  Hard to believe the maternity session was just over a year ago! I love watching families grow and it’s a great honor to be trusted with these memories.  Family photography is my favorite!

Family Maternity session

Maternity sessions are special whether you are welcoming your first baby, or you’re adding a new one to the mix.  It’s a wonderful time to look back on, and it doesn’t have to feel stiff or awkward.  This mama was absolutely glowing, and we were so lucky to get amazing weather for both the maternity session and the family photography session a year later.

Family Newborn session

The arrival of your new baby is such an exciting time and one of my very favorite things to document.  When you decide to book your family photography journey with me, we select a date for maternity photos and then pick a tentative newborn date that is 1-2 weeks after your due date.  Once your baby arrives, we check back in and confirm a date that feels comfortable to you.  From there, I send you a session guide so that you can feel fully prepared.  Newborn sessions are all about capturing the love and connection between you and your new addition.

Family session

Watching your family grow is such an honor.  Most families choose to come back for updated photos between 6 months to a year after their newborn photos.  By then, your little one can usually sit – sometimes walk – and it’s so fun to see how much they have grown.
